Looking to Rent While We Renovate

We are looking to rent a unit for 2mos while we renovate. There are a few apartments in our building that have been on the market for months and have not sold (they are standing empty). These sellers are not interested in having us sublet for 2months (don't really understand the mentality, but what can you do?), They'd rather sit with an empty unit and hope that it sells. If you have an empty unit, please email me and let me know if you'd like to make a deal with us. We are a couple with a house trained puppy.
