Discussion about
What are some vital lessons you have learned from streeteasy.com?
dont promise a launch date for a new big project
UD,
I hear you. Anything else?
bring a tape measure to open houses. ask for full mortgage contingency all the way till closing.
Buy now or be priced out forever.
marco_m,
Did you learn to bring measuring tape to open houses from streeteasy?
1)Political threads are a waste of time and boring as nobody is changing anyone's opinion on either side, especially not on a real estate forum.
2)THe value of digging into Acris documents. (Thank you NWT in particular)
no data is perfect. make sure you check and check and then get a very good attorney who will check again.
If you're a seller, be sure the tape measure is marked in troighids.
Everyone's got an angle.
Second Truth's observations.
Streeteasy meetups are fun and no matter how vehemently they disagree online, most people are lovely in person.
thats correct. also learned about acris as well.
I have learned a lot from SE, especially, from somewhereelse and bjw2103.
I second evnyc
Unicorns make very reliable market indicators.
I second KeithB's observation.
I second columbiacocroach who seconded evnyc's first post before she seconded KeithB.
When I created this thread I was looking for lessons of material not sarcasm.
