hey buick,

personally, i haven't used them but i have referred them to past clients of mine. although the quality of work is good, prices were a little steep according to some. as a disclaimer, i have known the owner for years and they are good guys. but, manhattan has plenty of good guys to choose from.

my advice would be to find 3-4 licensed companies, get referrals, go visit an active jobsite, ask to speak with a current client and get a detailed proposal. then compare.

let us know how it goes.

good luck!

best,

- rudy

HeyBuick, I have the same question. I'd be interested to know whether you've gotten any information and/or recommendations. Rudy says get a detailed proposal. Cardinal's contract is detailed but they give you a lump sum price, and don't break out the components (such as cabinetry, countertop, electrical and plumbing) unless you really press them to do so. That being said, they seem to have integrity and do solid work.
