Discussion about
Clearly a qualitative assessment, but how to determine the impact on price / resale value / potential value ceiling for an UWS co-op unit that is across the street from a single room occupancy building and two doors down from a halfway house (transitional housing for people coming out of shelters)? West 97th Street towards Riverside Park.

Why? How could it not? Is it a potential question for families moving in?

No shelters on Park Avenue...

is not like that area (upper UWS) is totally clean of projects, shelters and the like for this specific one to make a big impact imho.

Point taken, alanhart. If I'm ever in a jam, good to know I could finally have a Park Ave address!

Thanks for the insight.

It's just funny that there are a bunch of these facilities -- and a certain amount of street activity -- right there in the heart of UWS / RSD pre-war stuff.
