Discussion about 101 Warren Street in Tribeca
Does anyone have any information when 101 Warren will start closing.I was told that Dec and January was a possibility but it looks like a long way off. Possibly March or April. Anyone have any inside information?

I don't but if you bought in congratulations. Probably one of the best new developments in NYC.I'm jealous.
Little bit too pricey for a market expert like you, eh spunky? I would have thought with all your financial expertise and market wisdom a guy like you would have been able to afford 3000+ per square feet.
Anyone know when this building will be finished?
Hello
I heard that 101 Warren may not be ready until February or March '08. They will close on the Townhomes homes first but who wants to live in a condo that is still under construction.
So, the townhomes will close first, with the tower to follow? Sounds as if the tower won't start closing until sometime in the summer 2008, if not later. Still seems optimistic -- the facade isn't even finished yet.
FYI -- looks like the retail will be in before the condos; the interior graphics are up for the Barnes and Noble and they are starting to put up shelving for books . . . maybe by Xmas?
Also -- the rental office is open in the building as is the model unit. They look to be ready the same time as the retail . ..
Any developments on this building?
Kace, no one else seems to be responding, so here's what I know. It's indirect information, so perhaps not the most helpful:
The seller of one apartment I looked at in March was selling so that he could move into 101 Warren. He was stipulating a delayed closing, no earlier than September, so that he did not have to find interim housing. I don't know what floor he's on, but if he's anticipating a closing in September, I doubt any are happening for a few months yet.
I am very curious to see how many of those units get flipped once closings start...
I think the reason no one is responding is due to the wealth level. People who can afford this building have no need for this website.
or perhaps the lack of response is the fact that sponsor units are now being offered at 25% under 2008 closing prices???
