I've been giving this matter very deep and serious thought. And I've decided that they don't warrant the moniker "Tea Party", because tea is real.
"Crystal Lite Party" is more appropriate. There's the drug of choice for uneducated impoverished rustics, and there's that weird word that implies imitation and low standards in general. And you can imagine what their idea of "party" is: five people in a derelict trailer with some meth and NASCAR on the pirated satellite teevee. With the Koch brothers paying for their votes, if any. Of course.
