of course not. i type in "short sale" in the description includes bar once a week or so. it's just a personality thing. i hate having my e-mail inbox flooded with se updates.

i'm a do it myself type of gal.

in manhattan the short sale list is pretty short.
one of them has been in contract for over a year.

If you put quotes around "short sale" the list is 229. 272 includes short walks etc. But thanks for the heads up!

Yes, the Peter Gabriel song comes first to mind but it's also a metaphor about how i want to see housing prices smashed to pieces in NY... :-)

Learn English from:

1 - Yale University. Nope

2 - HFSCOMM1. Yup, aboutready, with a Yale education, had to come to streeteasy and learn English from HFSCOMM1 who taught her that despite 'irrespective' and 'regardless' being words, "irregardless" is NOT A WORD.

Beat that columbiacounty - name one person who has been bettered by you in any way.

Next attempt: try to teach aboutready to stick by her word. After all, the husband is the ambulance chaser in the marriage, not her. http://streeteasy.com/nyc/talk/discussion/21960

W67 - I rally like your outside of the box thinking in terms of leading indicators. A bulge in open houses that you refer to in other threads and short sales ("measurable" items) is probably more meaningful than stats like inventory given the unknown impact of the "shadow"... You don't perchance have a historical index with that? (or maybe SE can add one like their new manhattan condo cost index...kudos on that again SE!)

Hey AR - I'm not on much, but good to see your contributions. I always find them helpful.

Sledgehammer - love that song!

Happy Halloween everyone -
