Discussion about
We are looking to buy out East and fell in love with Towd Point. Are there other areas to look that are similar?
try looking at West Beach Rd in Southamton Shores, or homes on the water near the Peconic Bay marina e.g:

i looked at this house. very nice. but we wanted a bit more land
Also, I don't know whether or not you want a pool, but someties houses like the one above are virtually on marsh land, and you may not be able to build a pool. Also don't know what the flood potential is.
I'd take a look at bayside homes in Shinnecock Hills. They have the same views, sunsets, etc, and have a great beach setup. Not a lot available now, but there are some in Cold Spring Point.
Thank you all so much! It's so difficult to find some hidden wonderful areas.
If you are still looking, there is a magical spot out in East Hampton with water on both sides, an old fishing colony. It's affordable but there are restrictions not too hard to overcome
Do tell
You have to be an easthampton town resident (Montauk to wainscott and parts of Sag Harbor)and or vote in easthampton.. so rent a small place then buy a little bit of paradise on the beach
whats the area?
Gerard Drive.
Gerard is one noreaster away from disappearing. No one should be living there, especially the folks with all of their concern for the envirnonment...its ok for them to live in big homes but not ok for people to use thier beach...bunch of hypocrites
