Discussion about
Has anyone had a good experience with a downtown broker for selling their apartment? We are considering listing ourselves or using a broker for a 2 bedroom 2 bath in the West Village. After looking at a lot of apartments as a buyer, it was discouraging to see how many brokers didn't even bother to show up at their own open houses.
I recommend the lovely Alison Rogers from DG Neary Realty in Chelsea. She's a StreetEasy regular & just tremendous.
Thanks for recommendation ddrdrd.
I second that recommendation!
I'd love to hear about your apartment if you list on your own OR with a broker!
Prudential if you're in a pre war and Corcoran if you're in a postwar.
They will get you the maximum selling price... although they probably won't be at the open house... it's kind of like Ivy League schools, the professors never teach the classes ;). Go with someone with a ton of experience in the area.
How did I miss this thread and these lovely compliments?
drdrd, Alan, thanks so much for your kind words. My firm, based on West 16th Street, has been a presence in the neighborhood for 25 years and we do indeed strive to be "just tremendous."
Nycbuyer1, do you have a timeframe for when you'd like to sell by?
