building at 30 Fifth Avenue

While prices have come down, basically what I said in the thread linked to above (2 yrs ago) is still accurate. This is a solid building with a very discreet, quiet sort of luxe ambiance. I loved the lobby; my b/f thought it was Rosemary's Baby like. In short, it is a great building if you find the apartment you like there.

This apartment doesn't look very Rosemary's Baby to me.

NYCMatt: not the apartment. It was something about the dark lobby. Also, the board meets in a room in the basement that is through a kind of maze. They sit around someone's old dark oak dining table that seats 14 people and it is sort of like a coven feeling. It's kind of creepy. But what ever they are doing seems to be working because the building impressed me as conservatively run financially and the physical plant and facade were in good shape. Staff is very nice.
