A mere 40-light years from earth, the exoplanet GJ 1214b boasts a faster commute to Manhattan than the current commute from Long Island City, express bus service notwithstanding. Details below: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40455207/ns/technology_and_science-space/ In other news, the Bloomberg Administration has announced a new study on extending the #7 train from Seacaucus to GJ 1214b, if only Governor Tubby will approve the cost of digging the tunnel. This will make it much easier for the inhabitants of GJ 1214b to shop at the new Gristedes across from Water Taxi Beach.
Yeah, but exoplanet GJ 1214b can't boast of a newly-reopened cross-creek tram the way Long Island City can, can it? So extrourban Long Island City wins.
I think the cameras on the express buses will help a lot.
idiotic
Some people have ZERO sense of humor.
I'm surprised at the lack of posts here. It's the only thread on the board to use the word "exoplanet."
After some research stevejhx, you are correct on that count. Empirically, that is.
I did some more research, looking for the word "w67thstreet" and found this: http://streeteasy.com/nyc/talk/search?search=w67thstreet
