Anyone have info on what units have sold for in the Murano? I cannot find any info to use for comps for my potential purchase.

They are at 30% right now. What line are you looking to buy?

I re-visited Murano recently. My first visit was during the summer. I liked the layouts of many of the 1BRs, but I was concerned about the rumors of idling LIRR trains during the day. Well, I finally visited Murano during the day. I do have to say that the noise coming from the idling LIRR trains is very audible and annoying during the day, even on the 7th floor with the windows closed. I guess others don’t mind all the humming noise, because the broker claims they are over 50% sold. Prices have also gone up.

Actually, they were 38% sold, but it became over 50% now that includes my unit. I visited 5/6 times during day time to analyze the train sound, but it is not that bad. Inside the condo, you dont hear much. Good part of it is there will be no building in future to block my view (6E) and train sound will cancel out other noises. In terms of design, they are the best and I couldn't choose any other buildings. Had to come back to Murano. Good luck to everyone to find your dream home!

@Everyone: YES THEY ARE OVER 50% SOLD, THAT IS WHY MY BANK APPROVED ME. I have also seen the paper myself. This is the fact. Anyway, but I am having trouble with my condo contract, not closed yet. Not sure if it will be ever closed. Seller seems very arrogant. Be careful while you buy any condo, make sure YOU, not only your attorney, read the whole contract. I personally become very expert now. If you need free advise, you can ask me.

@spoinky: Before I moved in I thought train would wake me up. But I found train is the last thing to worry about. No with window closed, I dont hear train sound. Other units might have AC trouble, mine is fine so far.

Did anyone notice the actual size on the unit smaller than what they claimed? Can someone provide some feedback?
