Discussion about
HI All - Any thoughts on the below 4? Are prices accurate? Does one stand out more than the rest? I do have to say they are all impressive in person. Just looking for some feedback as the market appears slow but the "brokers" say otherwise... http://streeteasy.com/hamptons/sale/445951-house-57-startop-drive-montauk http://streeteasy.com/hamptons/sale/525854-house-montauk next two on seperate thread as SE thought i was a spammer

seen all of these. why the outlier in east hampton? just because it's modern? re: whaler's lane, there's a better listing asking maybe 5.5 closeby designed by pei associates.

Honestly, from the pictures, not too thrilled. Looks dated already, way too much wood, strange pool area, on the smaller size and a little pricey...views look great, but otherwise i prefer the others

see it in person. i thought it was weird at first too, but the design is smart. the sun sets to the bay side of long island, not a straight line, so the pool is designed to take advantage of afternoon sun/sunsets. stay out of east hampton per the other post. location. right across the from beach = always someone who will take it off your hands.

did you ever go in 102 Surfside Avenue? also liked that house, no pool though, but you're ON the ocean.
