Additional bedroom + heater (radiator)

Hi, I am thinking of putting an additional bedroom in the dining alcove (everything is within the local laws). The only thing that I am worried is, where the wall will be built has a heater/radiator in between. I don't know if I can "split" it up into 2 radiators. P.S. This is a co-op. Thanks!

I've seen it done where the wall follows the profile of the HVAC unit. Looks a bit skeevy, but then so does turning the dining L into a room, so no big deal.
