Discussion about
Curious whether anyone has some insight into the listings at 58 Strong Place in Cobble Hill. Liked the neighborhood, the fact that it's a renovated church, as well as the layouts and finishes. But have been warned to stay away from new developments due to the "invisible" problems/unknowns that can come up. What kind of details should I keep in mind / questions should I ask as I weigh the decision on putting in an offer or not? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Just make sure you have a good real estate attorney who can incorporate some loopholes to get you out of the contract in the event extensive delays occur with closings. Also, be vigilant about the percentage of units in contract required before your lender can close on the building - best to use buildings preferred lender.
