I found some in PS 290, but their price tags (in the $3000s) had me thinking there must be some catch...like they're 900 sqft.

Do you mean top PS anywhere or just the UES?

Looks like a few legit ones zoned for PS 290. Not many though...

You can type the name of the school in the search bar. Follow the rentals link from there.
