Like a bus, there's always another coming. We'll laugh and drink very sweet sangria when all is said and done. The true deflation starts post spring 2011, when all us 'buyers' realize there are no buyers to compete against. The lemming fruit has been thrice squeezed. it's got no juice left.

I've seen the apt. It's OK, not great. all the bedrooms and baths need remodeling, as does the kitchen (nothing upgraded in 20-25 yrs, I would estimate). Views are nonexistent, over neighboring gardens of the brownstones behind the building. I think the reason it hasn't sold is it needs about 200K of work (at least) and IMO the broker was very obnoxious when showing it. She seemed to be put out at having to show, and then tried to imply we weren't qualified or that the board would reject us. We ended up buying at a building w/ a much more stringent board, FWIW. So I think she just wasn't doing the apartment justice.
