Question re Rental Rates

Curious as to what you guys think a decent sized 2BR (1400sf) or C6 would rent for on UWS (70th-100th). Doorman bldg, decent light/good floor. Amens not critical. Thoughts? Do you think $6000 or $7000 will go a long way?

Well, we were paying $3,500 for a 2-2 on 92 and WEA but building has been sold and rent jumped to $4,500 (they're trying to boot all the market renters so they can renovate) Otherwise I'd have suggested the building to you. I recall seeing a nice little 6 (or perhaps it was a 5) rental on RSD (had good river views) a few months ago asking somewhere around $5K.

I think your budget, while it may not go a 'long' way, will find you a pretty nice place.
