Yes, this is exactly why I told you that you should have bought stocks.... not the Manhattan condos you lost your shirt on.

Better luck next time.

stop the nonsense swe...stop it already. You know you'll have to pay 100k more for that beloved 1 bedroom you were panting over in 2009.

What in tarnation are you referring to? Don't get all aroused by my suggestion that you hire a Science & Math service to, let's say, round out your intellectual capabilities.

"However, more layoffs were expected in the transportation, utility, information and communications sectors." ... in other words, most of what the US does.

omg, Steve is completely falling apart! All the money losing finally got to him!
He's completely cracking up!

"alan....there's always therapy."

Yes, good idea Steve. Its about time you did that.

"op the nonsense swe...stop it already."

Coming from SteveF, that's pretty fing hillarious.

"You know you'll have to pay 100k more for that beloved 1 bedroom you were panting over in 2009"
"and 50k more for that studio...."

Lets see... hmm... the actual facts....

NOPE.

One bedrooms are now 95k LESS than they were in early 2009, and studios 62,500 less. Even if you go for mid-2009, its 30-35k down apiece.

The medians are actually the lowest they've been since way before the crash... NOW

Whoops!

> alan, swe..isn't the planned hiring great news?

For stock buyers, yes. For you, nope.

swe, stop it already. so ridiculous. Prices were lowest(post lehman) in late 08-early 09. Prices have been moving higher ever since and have ramped up in the last 6 months. please stop this silliness. Wait until this time next year and try finding an under 500k condo. Won't be there. Then try to find an under 600k condo in 2013(when inventory is halved). Won't be there.

LOL. Coming from SteveF, that's precious.

Steve, really? How do you make this stuff up with a straight face? This is utter nonsense.
Are you trying to make people think you don't know anything?

We just DROPPED down another 7.5% in the last quarter (Manhattan median)
Studios are currently at the lowest median since before Lehman.
One bedrooms are $5k off the lowest median since before Lehman.

But, hey, its not like you have a use for facts...we know that.

You haven't looked at an actual piece of data since you started shilling 2 years ago.

This says more companies plan to hire, not the amount of people they will hire. "Most in 12 years" makes it sound like we will have 350k new jobs a month, like 1999. In fact, we could have 1/3 that and still have the highest number of FIRMS wanting to hire.

Exactly, jason.

steveF was promised the Sun and Moon when he bought his underwater condo. I don't know why he's so resistant to my suggestion that he offer a (won't-be) buyer the Sun and Moon so he can be rid of it. That's what Sun and Moon services are for. (Unicorns, too!)

> steveF was promised the Sun and Moon when he bought his underwater condo.

That is a little bit sad.

However, when SteveF turns that dilemma into promising all potential buyers the sun and the moon, then it is a true d*ck move.

Maybe steveF can hire the same Smoke & Mirrors service that the big brokerages & fringe developers use. I'm just saying.

you delusionists are once again making this thread about SteveF but it's about the most planned hiring in 12 years...you seem to be consistently missing the point. Classic delusional/denial behavior.

it is what it is. Good news is good news. I want everyone on this island to get rich. It is my hope, it is my dream. The more money made the more money moves around. I see to many haters posting here.

steveO or, should I say, Oh Captian, my Captian...FULL STEAM AHEAD!

balkanizing......................hmmmmmm

Hey alan, this one's for you:

My favorite Ven diagram is two circles. Inside of one it says. "Balkan dictators", in the other it says,"Jackson five".

Where they overlap,"Tito".

He's seriously delusional. For a while, I thought it was just plain shilling. But, the verbal vomit has gone on so long... I think he actually believes that 1+1 = square root of elephant.
