Peter Schiff made me bite my tongue

Peter Schiff is playing his role. Maybe he believes what he says, maybe he doesn't. The firm's philosophy and one echoed by all it's key people is that the American economy is in deep trouble. This is their marketing message. They are selling an investment allocation that plays to that them. Every time someone from Euro Pacific is making an appearance they are pushing that agenda and message, which makes them a great deal of money I suspect.

He is worse than what people accuse Roubini or Whitney of - in that he has been wrong 7 or 9/10 times about 9/10 things - but those things he is right on generate all the publicity.
