Discussion about
One major financial bank will collapse, the dollar will continue to decline and real-estate is in the 1st inning of a long long downturn. New York is lucky that the Chinese can buy 75% of the city and wipe out the caucasian community. I live on the UES, and a large majority of townhomes have been sold to asian and arabian home-owners. The U.S. is on clearance, and foreigners will control Manhattan!

report abuse spunky, sorry for you but I already discussed how i cashed out on gold way earlier (don't make me repost the facts again). nice try though... AGAIN. admittedly, you are quite persistent.

right now playing the financial short game after hearing what jim rogers had to say... when he said he's increased his short positions in financials last week, i listened and followed (he's the genius, not me). it's on bloomberg. anyways, sorry, a little busy posting on other sites which have more financial bearing that

What's I find interesting is that MMAfia doesn't even live in New York. Now we find out he's from Boston and he's a Red Sox fan. I don't think it should come as a surprise then that his outlook on Manhattan is less than positive.

Hey, SoflNYC,

Did you actually even bother to read what I posted?

1. Buy Gold (bullion, ETFs, mining co stocks)
2. Hold
3. When MACD crosses EMA in a downward trend, sell some to cash out
4. When MACD crosses EMA in an upward trend, accumulate more Gold with the cashed out money.
5. Goto step 2.

Read step #4: what do you do with the cashed out $$$? that's right, accumulate more with the cashed out money. Guess what happened recently... yesss- the MACD crossed the EMA on Friday on a 10 day chart.

So, again, sticking to this formula, what should I have done? That's right, accumulated more with the cashed out money.

Listen, I'm not going to sit here and post every single trade I make wiseguys. So instead, I just posted a really simply trading algorythm to follow. Talk to me in January following those simple 5 steps.

I find it amazing to come onto this board and see the same losers have posted at all hours of a holiday weekend (11pm on a Saturday night, spunky? is your life that pathetic?)

and MMafia - don't be so obtuse - did you not notice that both spunky and this new poster SofBNYC posted within minutes of each other in the middle of a holiday weekend when nobody else was posting, and used the same 5th grade term "brewskie"? hey MMafia, it's your time, but why even respond to this idiot?

faustus, if your head was any further up MMAfia's ass you would be breathing for him. I don't think I have seen that level of ass kissing on a blog before. Nicely done.

Juice is so cute reaching out for attention like that. Juice, I honestly hadn't noticed/read your posts and apologize for not mentioning you in my previous comments but you should definitely be included among that group of losers posting at all hours of a holiday weekend. Feel better kiddo?

Damn, this is easy.

Do you realize that you are not only reading this board but also providing comments (albeit useless ones), so you are calling yourself a loser. Nice. You truly are an idiot.

I don’t plan on going back and forth with you with insults because I do actually respect the opinions of people on this board (even if I disagree with them). You on the other hand have added nothing of value to the conversation and are better off ignored. Enjoy your one off, insignificant babble. I’m sure you were the one that got pushed around in high school and have finally found your mojo. Congratulations.

Juice - if you don't want to be insulted, perhaps you shouldn't invite it so eagerly. No skin off my back either way.

faustus-Unfortunately, no one can predict for sure what the Manhattan RE market will be like in 2008. However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know for sure that moving forward you will still be a moron.

hey spunk - you're letting us all down here. I know you're capable of better comebacks than "I know you are but what am I?" ... or perhaps you're not. Either way, if you need some help with witty retorts, keep posting and we'll be there for ya.

Hey Faustus,
Your an idiot. I work ten to fifteen hrs a week,if I want to. I can go out partying anytime I want, while you are sniffing MMafia's hershey highway. Did you read today's beige book, real estate sucks throughout the US, except condo's and coop's in NYC, which are up. Thank you, Europe. Faustus good luck on the unemployment line.

SofBNYC - hey, a couple observations/questions

1. English as a second language
SofBNYC: "your an idiot" (the irony is hilarious)
Spunky: "when your hand sweeping garbage" (come again?)

2. Why does SofBNYC become so hysterically angry when spunky is insulted? Hmm. Seems a little odd.

3. And my earlier observation (see my comment 3 days ago):

"don't be so obtuse - did you not notice that both spunky and this new poster SofBNYC posted within minutes of each other in the middle of a holiday weekend when nobody else was posting, and used the same 5th grade term "brewskie"?"

Oh, come on, fess up spunk. Is that you?

Okay then, I can reach no other conclusion than that SofBNYC and spunky are conjoined twins, each with half a brain.

faustus let me keep this simple and sweet. As you know it's holiday season and the mail is slower this time of the year. Now is a good time to get your checkbook out and write the check to your landlord. Now you see I wasn't nasty, mean or obnoxious all I am here for is to help you so you don't get hit with late fee's. You are renting aren't you?

wow spunk, you really DO sit at your computer hitting 'refresh'!

No - I missed paying rent, but for a good reason. I blew it all on your "model/actress wife". Did you know it costs extra if you shackle her wrists to her ankles? I didn't. No joke.

Well it's true the fringe nabes will usually feel the blow first, markznyc casually left out the article's mention of reductions at Novare, which happens to be in landmarked Village territory on W4th. We may not see a "major" sell-off or whatever you want to call it, but the trends are definitely not what they used to be - I hope we can agree on that much.
