Uh-oh, the politicans in Albany just touched the 3rd rail. Can everyone say STRIKE? I hope everyone owns a good pear of walking shoes because the MTA contract expires tis December.. If the politicans ram Tier VI down the unions' throat, they will all strike. Tier 6 proposal may be on tap http://blog.timesunion.com/capitol/archives/53971/tier-6-proposal-may-be-on-tap/

Strike up the band!

I don't think the TWU will strike, because of the ill-will from their last strike. What they will likely do will be much worse: months of slowdowns and the like, arranged on the whisper network, with nobody admitting to it nor able to prove it.

Why can't they ALL be fired and replaced? Similarly to what Reagan did with aviation controllers?
