Hmmm. . . some good points there. The RE market is local, and in NYC it's block by block. All good stuff goes fast: cars, houses, jewelry, even the best sweater. Mediocre stuff always sits.

I think NYC will be fine. It's my other properties in other states that suck . . .

My favorite line from the article: "Admittedly when you have seen the depths of despair, a single ray of dim light can feel like high noon"

"Andrew Jeffery is a principal of Cirios Real Estate"

http://ciriosrealestate.com/
"Cirios provides value-added brokerage services to home buyers throughout the Bay Area."

reason #11 to be bullish on housing?
Andrew Jeffery's girlfriend won't say yes to anything less than a full 3cts. man needs some dough, like yesterday.

what buffett said in 2009: "you can bet on inflation"
what buffett said in 2010: "what people have to understand is that a year from now, housing problems will mostly be behind us"

The whole things is silly. If we are talking about housing, to the average American, they want one house. At this stage, they don't want to be bullish, they don't want to be bearish, they want to find something affordable as this is their house
