ps 89

It's a great school. Principal is excellent. She is fighting some political fires now because the school report card from Klein just came out and she didn't fare well (the middle school got a D). That's a whole other discussion, but suffice it to say that she has always favored diversity and a very integrated curriculum. Parents of PS89 kids are generally very pleased with the school.

How reliable is insideschools.org anyway? Anyone find any inconsistencies with what is written there?

Local newspaper, Downtown Express, has article on downtown schools, "Downtown objects to local schools' bad marks". PS 89 received a C grade. Here's the link to the article:
