Give a free pass to the president of the condo association once in a while, you'll be fine!

i think most co ops frown on "working from home" situations. but i agree with sledgehammer, give the board prex a freebie once in a while and you're golden. good luck!

co-op board is old archaic type, he'll kill the party's mood..

though in previous condo, curiosity got the best of one of the new young doormen.. he was a hit.

Only a problem if you seriously annoy your neighbors.

First of all, if there were money involved between the person and her "visitors" while there is an administrator of some sort, then it is illegal.

Are you serious or just try to make fun out of this?

ss400K,

I apologize if you felt offended. I didn't mean to.
So, as you declared, if this is purely a life style issue and the building eventually gives you trouble, then you should explain to them and seek real legal advice if needed.

I don't think anyone here can help much other than suggesting to give a freebie for board members.

no offense taken vic, and none directed your way at all, just the thought didn't even come to my mind.. yeh we do have a hot young board member.. appears conservative type, and usually the type to be into something like this..

also we respect neighbors, no yelling at the top of our lungs though if you pass by you may hear slappage and some grunts

Let me get this right...
You are having lots of sex with lots of partners...correct?
sometimes 30 people at once???
You want to know if the board can limit your guests?
It's going to be hard to believe it's not a business...even if it's not.
If that was going on, on my floor, I'd think it was a business and, I'd do something about it.
I'd go to the board and demand action, based only on my worst fears. The last thing I'd want is a prostitute on my floor with strange Johns in and out all the time (no pun intended).
Now, if you're just a sex addict it's going to be hard to prove and there will always be lagging after thoughts.
Where were you when I was single?
Word to the wise...since you are running a volume operation...caution caution caution!
Double bag, triple bag...cover your body with 5th generation fluoroquinolones in a gel or cream preparation. No kissing!

Assuming this is legit (& I still don't really know just what you're doing), I think you were foolish to not stay in a condo. Good luck. Your neighbors may well try to queer your action - no pun intended.

NYC = herpes capital of the US. This isn't helping.

And yes, you can pass it by shaking hands....

If my neighbor in my coop regularly had 30 people over I wouldn't like it. If it happened frequently I'd give them a hard time and make sure the building did. Don't do it in my coop. Have sex parties somewhere else--not where I live. These are going to be strangers I assume and I do not want them wandering around my building.

That's what most intelligent folks do...bang the sex fiend in coop that they live in.
Makes for comfortable living.
Fun thread for a thread that's not true.
I understand there are coops that are very comfortable with this type of behavior.
Try the Azure. They are ready for anything that increases foot traffic.
Perhaps a F'in Book party where the F'in is a verb not an adjective. (better living through grammer)

Try the Azure?!. Yeah, right! "They are ready for anything that increases foot traffic."
Even open houses, orchestrated by shills, here on SE.

See what I mean truth, you can't be nicer than alanhart, he's followed you around on a half dozen threads in the past 10 minutes saying 'Hi'. It's like a big old Saint Bernard or one of those little King Charles Spaniels.
