I am looking for artist quality NYC pictures from the 1950'-1980's stuff on the gritty side. any suggestions on what gallery might carry this? thanks

MR: I recently acquired a load of quality photos for the T.V. show I'm involved with.
Still going through it all.
Are you interested in black and white, or are you open to color too?

Check out Danny Lyon. He did a very famous book in the 1960s called The Destruction of Lower Manhattan:

And lots of NYC street photography in the late 1960s. He's with Houk Gallery I think.
