Lucille: I have friends living up in Harlem. They are all gainfully employed (Broadway performers: actors, singers, dancers). And they are black people.

I've only had one situation of violence in Harlem: Got in the way of a shoot-out, on my way to dinner.
We all had to duck and cover: black and white.
But, other than that: Great music and food up in Harlem. Have been back many times since then.
No trouble.
