Discussion about 70 Jane Street in West Village
The sellers want to profit over 5 million dollars in 15 years?
probably spent a trucload on renovations in that period problem is the desgin is crappy.....
if you are goign to use the garden floor as a guest apartment then no need for the second bathroom on the ground floor, put a jack and jill two door bathroom in for when you are using the entertainment room (means you can also get some decent closet space in there.
no coat closet on the main floor, have to walk through the dining area to the rear living space.
no ensuite for a master, i'm guessing the rear third is supposed to be the master but you should really suck it up on these smaller houses and do a parents "floor" best example is door at end of the third floor hall with bathroom in front room and a row of closets running along the wall were the vanity is on the third floor (eg almost from fireplace to fireplace) though i've also seen a cool design where it was on the hallway side).
Also whats with the wasted space on top of the stairs on the 4th floor? should have moved the laundry from the third floor to the space opposite the 4th floor bathroom.
proof yet again that even if you spend the money you can be spending it on the wrong things.....
deanc, will you be my floorplan friend? Those comments are spot on.
