The alternative is to look at streeteasy's listings in the building (past and present) to see which brokers have done work there and how they did--how quickly did unit sell, how well was it priced to start in light of final price, how many price reductions were necessary, how many listings in the building has the broker handled, did any of the broker's listings appear to have gone to contract only to end up back on the market (indicating an unqualified buyer or other problems the broker may or may not have been able to prevent or sniff out).
