Artist in Residence (AIR) Effects on Soho

What have been the effects of the recent legal enforcement/non-bank lending aspects of the recent focus on the AIR requirements in Soho? It looks like a lot less lofts are selling/closing since the NYT story. Also looks like more disclosure in the descriptions for the apts/lofts for sale.

The question buyers should be asking is what is potential loss they may suffer if the rule is ever enforced. That is exactly the question banks may be asking. Still seeing sales though.
