Fotuotamatane Toluao, who is based in Germany. “I have a family to take care of, diapers aren’t that cheap,” he said. “There are half a million troops deployed to some ragged country who depend on their paycheck. Taking that away... [more]

Um, this posting has nothing to do with New York City real estate, nor is it anywhere near accurate.

Republicans passed a continuing resolution that would fund the military for the rest of the year. Senate Dems blocked it and Obama said he would veto it.

Why don't Dems want to pay soldiers? Because they put their social agenda ahead of our military.

Republicans should have passed a lean CR, not one with riders. Planned Parenthood and DC abortions should be in a stand alone bill.

Where was the tea party in 2008 when the bailouts were being passed? Did you see them? I did not.

The teabaggers should be protesting outside the Pentagon demanding cuts to defense spending. UNtil they do, they are nothig but corporate shills.

Uh, Moron, that's when the Tea Party came on the scene. Specifically to protest the bailouts.

You are a complete idiot.

WHy isn't the Tea Party protesting farm subsidies? Or the fact that despite budget cuts, the defesne budget will INCREASE? The Tea PArty seems to be quite selective in what they protest... Very selective.

No, they are there to protest Obama. The secret is out. We all know that the Tea Party is NOT grass roots and is run by Republican operatives like Dick Armey. There is actually a lobbying firm in California that is making a good sized profit from the Tea Party.

My understanding was as LICComment posted, which essentially means that the OP either did not understand what was going on or intentionally posted a lie. Either way, poor form.
