Unfortunate reno. Exagerated SF. SMMMMAAALLLL bedrooms. Impossible to squeeze a king size bed in. I don't know why developers are only doing combo kitchen/LR/DR and such small bedrooms.

Because apartments without kitchens (appliances in the living room) make the space appear "bigger" and fool people into forgetting they don't have a real kitchen.

If they tried to construct real kitchens, there would be no room left over for a living room.

Or could it be that people actually want a open kitchen design? Throwing up a wall in a small kitchen doesn't make a unit more desirable IMO.

I don't know. It's the old supply-and-demand question. Maybe people are buying open-kitchen apartments because that's all that's available in their price range.

Open kitchen has its plus in that you can cook and entertain at the same time. Agree with the apartments being small and priced at a premium despite being east of Church.

Absolutely love the floorplan for apartment #2A. At a total loss as to how a terrace that measures 30 feet x 14 feet is 601 square feet in total.

Does not seem that anything is contract. It's been about two months since they opened. Anyone know what is going on?

I went there for a open house a few weeks ago. The broker wasn't there, we tried calling but didn't get an answer. We decided to move on after spending about 5 minutes chatting with the two other groups that were also waiting.

What's the status of the empty lot next door where the prior building under construction collapsed? Also, does any one know whether how loud the construction on Chambers was and how big a disturbance it was. I understand that they are scheduled to start very soon on the section of Chambers that this building is adjacent to and the construction will continue through the end of 2013, at least.
