good stores for countertops in manhattan/brooklyn

Try SMC Stone. They have a huge showroom and factory in Brooklyn and a smaller showroom on Delancey. I recently went with them for Caesarstone counters. Good service and price. Ask for Ken.

Not much of a showroom but Krups Kitchens and Baths on W 18th gave me the best quote on caesarstone. Installed beautifully.

I second SMC Stone as an important NYC source of stone and composites. Many highend contractors use them. Just a bit of a schlep to Bklyn. As for Krups, their prices may be competitive with some other Manhattan showrooms like MKBC, but overall I find this group to be grossly over-priced and full of themselves.
