Meadows East and West

Very close to Scuttle Hole Road which is one of the busiest roads in the Hamptons. I almost rented there one summer but the noise was unbearable to me. That's really the only negative about that area - but it's a big issue.

Thank you Lkgsoh. I like quiet too. Someone also mentioned to me that the neighborhood was inconsistent with respect to upkeep of the homes (nice ones intermixed with shabby) and that it was rather near the busy Community Center. Any comment on that? I will of course go out and take a look for myself but always appreciate input from others.

It's been a while but I don't remember thinking it was shabby. The houses were sort of 80s contemporary but that does not bother me. But the traffic noise from Scuttle Hole was unbelievable.
