Discussion about
hello out there in RE world. Im currently in the market for a 2bed 2 bath condo or even a 2 family livable but reno ready as well house. i def like the building at 46 s2 but not too sure if i can get past the 990 sq foot issue. in my price range that is the size. the finishes arent incredible but those can b upgraded in the future. its the location that is important & the views. has anyone been to check it out? im curious to hear what other peeps think. thanks

My brother visited this place - wasn't blown away either. 990 is a bit on the small side for a 2/2, though this is getting way more common with new construction in the past 2-3 years. The location is just mediocre for the northside - it's a bit of walk to either the J/M or Bedford stops, but at least you're kind of in the middle, so the choice is there. You've also got to worry about when construction on Domino starts and how long that will be in your backyard. That would be enough for me to pass on this one. Even if construction goes according to plan, you're talking straight through 2021. And knowing how things go, it'll almost certainly be longer. There are plenty of other options out there.

thanks for ur input & ur totally right. its def small & its another glue job from what i saw & the finishes were certainly low end. im obviously getting desperate to even consider it. im going to c a few condos in Fort Greene today & the sizwes are 1100-1300 sq feet in the same price range. plus id have access to the most train lines at atlantic station or even just the a&c even closer. The way i c it id b hard pressed to find anything in that size & price in willyb. & i actually have a new found love for the FG area.
