"The Quadruple Dip: Housing Starts, Permits Drop, Miss Expectations; Houses Under Construction At New Record Low" "At this point it is probably passe to bring up the Cramer clip calling the housing bottom back in 2008." http://www.zerohedge.com/article/quadruple-dip-housing-starts-permits-drop-miss-expectations-houses-under-construction-new-re
Oh my, real estate hasn't recovered yet? I thought we kissed the botto
? Tell me borkers.... Let me soothe myself by fondling your fake breast whilst you tell me re only goes up.... Only goes up..... Only goes up.....
Oh shit I fell asleep.
low housing permits/new dev construction manhattan rental vacancy < 1% = snooki gets her fossil watch?
Less home construction is actually good news since it will mean less inventory.
Anybody see Suzie Orman on Travis last night? She said there's a double dip coming in 2012.
Wouldn't that be the triple-dip, or "tripdip" as I like to call it.
Classic w67th! LOL! I can't help it.
But housing stocks are all up today.
Or tripdipshit, as I like to call her. Not Suze.
Suzie Orman, dispite her propesity for ornate outerwear, is usually right with here practical financial advice. Double dip, triple dip it does not matter. As Suzie says, "if you eat out every night you could save the economy".
And go broke.
I'm sure Suzie eats out every night
Suze's on a diet. The Rosie Diet.
Another perfectly fine discussion, until that unwiped asshole alanhart comes on to disrupt it.
Nice photo of you licking your shoe in the newspaper the other day, ah.
Talk about a piece of dipshit: Ah the poster-boy.
875gator: Surprised it took stevejhx 2 hours to get that one. He must have been busy. Downtown.
truth, so genteel. so refined. such a lady, never going on the boards and "cussing" people out. hypocrisy is a very ugly thing.

Drop the hate. You'll fee better.
"You'll fee better." Very lucrative biz, hate-dropping.
Riversider: She has nothing to offer to anybody, a drunken pig on an alkie rampage. Again.
Genteel? A pig has no class, it's just a pig. She's lightened-up on the cursing people out ever since her meltdown last summer. Also sparing us the details of her "vacations", her in-laws, and of course - Ralph the corp.attny.
So at least that's an improvement. Can't expect much from a drunken pig.
She and her gang-members follow me around on SE with their pathetic "comments", and then complain because I don't run away.
Rent stabilizer.
She's your friend.
Enjoy.
You deserve each other.
Aboutready's face is " very ugly thing".
Ever see that piece of garbage? Disgusting.
Leave Ralph out of this, Sylvia Frumkin.
You were the one who opened his big mouth on SE. "Happy Holidays to you and Ralph..."
A "discussion" about ar's holiday card.
ah: slave to a pig.
Truth: ?
Quadruple dip? What will Wbuttocks do?
By the way, I clicked on that link, where was the part about Manhattan?
huntersburg: It seems that cc is upset with ah.
Your boyfriend is back.
How is the cow tipping in columbia county?
cc can tip a pig, right here in Stuytown or PCV.
But you never read what I say?
I think columbiacounty wins the "dip dip dip dip" award for this thread. Hard to find someone who has gone so low, and then lower, lower, and even lower.
wow, that was fun. a couple of well-placed comments and truth shows the world exactly what a spiteful nasty psychotic bitch she is.
happy end of the world, truth!
oh, and ralph is doing swimmingly, thanks. the new job is awesome and highly remunerative.
i've just finalized the details for our upcoming four-week summer trip to europe (three countries, two villas, mediterranean beach, three major cities). should be grand!
tell us again about your famous friends, please!!!! do share!!!!
you posted at 2:35am, and then seeing no reply, had to come back on to defend ralph and his swimmingness at 6:12am. When do you have time to make fun of your daughter?
>(three countries, two villas, mediterranean beach, three major cities).
can columbiacounty join you?
I happen to love Suze Orman, though her teeth annoy the hell out of me.
ahhhh....troosh dooshy, in all her splenderous lovliness....kinda stinky tho
Wbuttocks creates a stink. That's what bottoms do
ar, mind saying which cities? mild pangs of jealousy aside, it's great when people are still able to vacation in an old fashioned way. and contrary to popular belief, a month in europe only sounds elitist. price wise, a month at the jersey shore is actually far more elite, lol. you go every year, right? do you always stay in the same cities? also, i'm sure this has occured to you, since you're spending a long time there have you considered enrolling your daughter in some kind of summer program?
lucille, it IS fairly inexpensive to travel in europe, particularly if you travel mid-June to mid-July instead of later, when prices go much higher. there are really beautiful apartments and villas that are extremely reasonable just about everywhere (unless you need A/C in london or paris, which can jack up your costs considerably). just a note to those interested in going to europe via london, both this year and last i got fairly burned, price-wise ($1300 per ticket vs. $850, which for four tickets represents a not-insignificant $1800), by purchasing my tickets months in advance. i'm a total wimp and will only take the morning flights, so i always book way in advance, and it just hasn't been necessary.
the past four years (including this year) have included london (4 times), rome (3 times), paris (3 times), istanbul (once), coast of turkey (once), tuscany (once), nice (twice), bonnieux (once, and quite possibly my favorite), barcelona (once).
parsons has a program for high school students in paris, and we're thinking about it, but not for a year or two. there's also a good immersion language program in antibes that's on my radar.
sorry pulaski. i totally agree that housing is doing horribly. so much for the notion that the bottom will occur this year.
ok, over sharing, here it goes. i know the parsons paris program well. it's a fabulous school and the teachers are active and successful in their fields. but be careful, it's a small wonderful community of quirky creative people who really try help eachother. she may not want to part from them for long.
ar, sounds like you have your plans in order, but you're right about airfare being nuts this year. We lucked out and got cheap tix to Barcelona in June ($640 direct!), but my parents are paying ~$1400 to Paris with a layover I believe. Also, I think I know the immersion program in Antibes - it's a good spot to be in. Just hope your daughter doesn't pick up that southern accent.
Watch your cheap tix - when they add the $500 security tax surcharge onto the bill for international flights.
Dont know if they are still around but Club ABC tours used to have fantastic deals for everywhere, depending on time of year per location.
That's a very different kind of travel, but yes -- Club ABC and Gate1 have really great package deals:
http://www.clubabc.com/
http://www.gate1travel.com/
i am no slouch with getting good deals, but here are my fares for july:
paris, an unbelievable $1450 rt
and, monrovia a painful $2250 rt
RS, hate? you must be joking. i was just having a damned good time. it's so easy to get truth to drop that dippy happy-go-lucky "aren't i a charming eccentric?" attention-getting facade. but if you like her so much (and in the past you've certainly seemed to!!) maybe you should spend sunday with her, she's looking for ideas and keith might not be available.
lucille, i'd love a program like the one you describe. bjw, thanks for the info, we'll warn her about the accent issue.
Bottoms, what in God's name are you doing in Liberia?
The Paris fare is about what I paid NYC-Florence-Venice-NYC: the ticket itself was about $850; the rest was US "security surcharge," though for the life of me I didn't see what they were doing.
Quadruple dip seems extraordinary. If you segment the population, the 20-40% group remains suffering and in need of continued assistance, the 40-60% group is belt tightening but not changing their outlook on their desire to work hard and get ahead, the 60-85% group is doing fine and is sympathetic to the tough times of some others as long as they haven't been irresponsible, and the top decile +/- is doing great.
