Discussion about
We presently rent in Forest Hills and are looking to buy a co-op in either Forest Hills or Park Slope. I love Park Slope, although it may be a stretch mortgage wise. I was just wondering about other people's opinions regarding these two neighborhoods. I have a 2 year old son who I want to put in an excellent elementary school. All feedback is greatly appreciated!

I would stay away from PS 321. It was extremely overcrowded before the condos on 4 Ave were built. It is totally insane now. The test scores have been going down for years.

Most slopers feel that PS 20 is a better bet.

stefanijoy: Forest Hills. Don't know about the schools but it's a lovely place to live.

stefanijoy: Just ignore alanhart. He's just here to disrupt an otherwise civil discussion.

Don't stretch, mortgage-wise stef. Enjoy Forest Hills.
