Discussion about
It seems like I see a new listing come up there every other day. Isn't 88 units on the market a lot for a neighborhood that is about 5 x 7 blocks?

They should have stopped the name of that neighborhood after the first 4 letters.

dumbo..hmmm....went to some great parties in dumbo. one loft had a huge hot tub in the middle of the room with 2 wood boxes on either side for little windowless bedrooms, instead of a kitchen they just had a huge bar along the wall with a microwave to make hot pockets. do people do that anymore? probably not, it's too expensive waste space like that, it's all developed condos probably. still, good times.

another had a bathroom with a mosaic'ed steps leading up to a platform with some super toilet. they were really going for a "throne" look, it was great

A little. But keep in mind, pretty much none of those apartments technicallly existed before the 1999 rezoing... and most are from just the last few years, with tons of construction (two big towers, lots of conversions). The number of legal apartments probably went up 5x in the last few years, so understandable there.
