Ceiling fans cement ceiling

Want to install Ceiling fan in my condo...what is best way cosmetically to do this. My ceiling is 9 ft.

I have two suggestions. My condo in Miami Beach has cement ceilings and we needed to construct what the architect called a "cloud". It was kind of a false ceiling that did not cover the whole ceiling, but floated and it allowed me to spread the light out. The edges of the cloud are lit with rope lighting so it creates some really nice indirect lighting effects also.

A less expensive alternative is to get the fan off the ceiling, perhaps like this one:

You will need to drop the ceiling or have wire mold, I would go with a drop ceiling with a very small junction box
