Streeteasy shows over 100 downtown townhouses on the market and only 4 townhouse closings in the last 60 days -- making for a 4 year supply! I would like to buy a nice single family property in the $4-5 mn range but the pickings are slim. Asking prices seem to be totally out of line with closing prices.
