Discussion about 19 Beach Street in Tribeca

This is a decent apartment, good light, went to see it and they are going to be digging up the Holland Tunnel right there for years. (Living with the jackhammers on Greenwich St last year killed me) and with the parking lot across the street (when will that be bought and a new building go up?) and talk of the fire house being closed by Bloomberg (1.shame on him for canning first responders and 2. what's going to end up there?) bedrooms are small, kitchen and baths are dated, there just isn't enough there to justify the price.

They aren't digging up the Holland Tunnel, they're digging up and replacing the water mains on Hudson Street. Estimated completion of 2015. That being said, besides the noise, traffic is already and will continue to be a mess for awhile, Friday afternoons in the summer a disaster.
