According to the Treasury Department, the majority of foreclosures are on second homes and vacant properties, which borrowers often fraudulently claimed were their primary residences. These folks deserve nothing. The homeowners that fraudulently claimed these properties as primary residences need to be charged and heavily fined.

There needs to be some sort of legal and penal consequences for all of this fraud or it is all going to happen again in a couple if years - just in a different form perhaps...
