I find this attitude evidence in listings all over Kensington, Ditmas Park, Windsor Terrace, and other such areas of Bklyn.

This is why, methinks, not too many apts are moving in those nabes.....

When I was looking to buy in Brooklyn, I did not get this Kensington snootiness among brokers. I remember asking why a 2-bedroom apartment in Kensington was priced nearly $100K more than an identical apartment in Midwood. "It's Kensington." she explained.

As if I'd just asked why a Fifth Avenue apartment was more than an East Village apartment.

Seriously, can someone explain the Kensington Cache??

That's weird, because Midwood has long had a reputation for great schools and a solid middle class, while Kensington had gone into decline.
