What confuses me is that when I used to hang out there, my friends had a working fireplace and the bathroom had tub and shower stall. The closets were endless. None of these building seem to look like the one I was in.

In the mid-block rental buildings, all the one-bedrooms originally had separate stall showers, and the floor-throughs above the 11th(?) floor have fireplaces.
