Lease Breaking

We live down near the WTC site and the construction is going on at literally all hours (Mon - Sat from 5:30am - 1am) and it's impossible to get any rest or enjoy our apartment. Can we break the lease under those conditions? When we came to look at the apartment there was no noise, and the leasing agent was very vague about the noise. Please help! Not slept in two weeks!
