Well actually Lucille, in the not so distant past, you definitly weren't her "friend".
Lots of people here on SE have great travel stories (want to hear about Galapagos and Macchu Picchu?) but share those experiences with IRL friends, rather than seeking approval / admiration on an Internet real estate website.

The not so nice story about her trip is that "hubby" controls the laptop and AR doesn't want him to know the extent of her SE addiction- SO when they travel we don't hear from her . And there is NO WAY an attorney travels without a computer or ready access to one.

oh it was all in good fun. and even if it wasn't who cares, it's in the past. i have a very limited short term memory, and i don't hold grudges. probably because i have no short term memory. just thought it might be interesting.

ph41, that's one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. actually his laptop quit on him while we were overseas. luckily we had another laptop, an I-pad with an international plan, a blackberry and three I-phones. we got by. I bought him, the one who controls the laptop use, a new one today. I let him use my computer earlier this week, generous soul that I am.

the thought that I hide my se time from him, hilarious.

lucille, we had a wonderful time. the weather was unbelievable, the hassle was remarkably low, even at heathrow, the kids got along (as did the adults) and a long-time friend who now lives in Texas was able to join us for a portion of the trip. very restorative.

just to piss off ph41 and truth i posted that we were in three countries, etc. back before we left. and indeed it seemed to strike some negative chord. (btw, ph41, don't give a rat's ass about the peru trip, this winter i failed to mention that we went to a resort fairly high up in the french alps and both the kid and i had horrible altitude sickness, the "hubby" was a bit put out initially but eventually had a good time off skiing on his own, i of course "stole" his laptop while he was skiing, but wait, i didn't post during that time).

although i'm fairly sure that our turkey destinations weren't on your (ph41's) tour group itinerary (we're not the tour types), i did give xanthos a wave for you.

A lot of activity here , since I posted my final comment of the day yesterday afternoon.

Since then we went swimming at the beach -- Main Beach, East Hampton, lucille; ( all 10 of us), came back to the house and enjoyed the pool and rested in the hammocks under the shade of the trees. Then we grilled a delicious dinner ( 16 of us by that time). Showered and got dressed to go out to a party --Gin Lane in South Hampton, lucille; to meet more of our real friends who have real lives and are interesting. This morning some went surfing -- Montauk, lucille; and the rest went sailing on the boat (one of 2 boats). We are having lunch by the pool now.

The dog just peed on another tree. He doesn't confuse the green of the trees with aboutready because he sniffs it before he pees. If it had that alkie stank on it -- he would have passed. He has smarts, skills and standards.

After lunch we're taking the boats out -- to Block Island lucille.

The bully troll gang members: ar (drinking alone at home again, naturally; and it seems also when her hub got home from work. I don't think he's working so late into the night -- he's hiding.)
alanhart (home alone drinking sidecars and trying to remember the last time he had sex.)
cc. ( home in columbia county, trying to keep up his trolling comments in order to meet the bully gang member quota)

non-bully non- gang members; huntersburg and jim in fine form.

Maybe I will check in later this afternoon-- from Block Island, lucille. From there we're taking a sunset sail to Newport, R.I.; lucille.
huntersburg, jim and lucille are all invited out to the Hamptons. We will be back from Newport on Saturday, and would be happy to pick you up at the r.r. station or the Jitney stop.
