What is your approximate location, and how far away would you be willing to park?

You can just triple-park your car 24/7 anywhere in Washington Heights you please, but be sure to blast your music with the doors open while doing so.

alanhart--you do have quite the issue with Washington Heights. Kinda weird.

Anyway, Txredrider: 153rd has a 24 hr lot, as does 158th. Both off Broadway.

There is a 24/7 garage at 184th and Broadway. Those that live in the Hudson Heights area tend to use this one.

Alan, what's your problem with WaHi? "Anywhere in Washington Heights," not true. At 155th and Amsterdam, maybe...at 187th and Cabrini, NEVER. WaHi is huge! Your assertion is like saying that all of downtown is the same (Chelsea = Chinatown).

Alan is racist.

Have you googled 'alanhart' recently? Check it out and see if you don't come to the same conclusion.

Main issue is that it's a 24-7 indoor garage and would prefer to park it myself. Don't mind it being away a bit but ideally would like it to be as close to 157 as possible, thanks.

Txredrider - we live on 157th/Broadway and we use the one on 154th St./Broadway.

Jason,ynotie29 - totally agree. One thing to not like the area another to constantly trash it. I don't like the UES but I can't imagine trash talking it non-stop. Seems odd.

There is also the one at 158th St near the entrance to the highway... Indoor parking and I believe it is around $200/mo

No contact name. But they're fairly friendly. It's about $265/mo. Only thing: if you need your car between 6-8am call WAY ahead.

The place on 158th is cheaper but I don't like lugging two small kids and all their gear up the hill back to our place.
