The Smith

I looked at the available apts but still think the price/square foot is too high. We are also looking at new devs in downtown brooklyn but prefer the locations in boerum hill and cobble hill. The square footage #s on the smith seem off and the ceiling heights were a bit low even in the penthouses so we did not put in an offer.

It's in the same building as the Nu Hotel. A friend of mine stayed at the Nu and noted the very poor construction quality. Things were falling apart, less than a month after the hotel opened.

Did they finish their lobby yet? It's in a great neighborhood though. I thought the units looked good actually, just expensive. They said they're pretty much sold out, but it does not seem like the building is fully occupied.

Was that the "Luxe Pop" building, or whatever?
