Should the contract mention the square footage?

Where should exactly the square footage of a condo be mentioned? In the contract? I have found conflicting information (both advertisings) regarding the size (square footage) of the unit that I am buying. How can I know which one is correct?

The approximate size and the measurement method are both specified in the offering plan.

In the offering plan. Now, how the developer did their measuring is another story and also in the offering plan. Some developers will add 'common elements' to listed sft, like at Ariel West..For example, a 2600sft apt is more like 2450sft with 150sft of common elements added in. Check the offering plan
