Washer dryer combo vibration?

I assume you installed the kit? Make sure it is correctly installed

This is an all in one combo unit I have been told to buy a pad to put underneath it. Has this worked for the vibration issue and if so where can I buy this?

did you ensure that the screws that keep the drum fixed during shipping were removed?

Yes I'm looking at them, everyone is telling me a rubber pad. Just want to make sure that's the solution before I rip out this kitchen.

Where is the unit? Undercounter? On hardwood floor? All high-speed front loaders vibrate, and zero vibration is not going to be achieved, especially if the floor was not reinforced under the unit. Nevertheless, I assume that your unit is vibrating/louder than identically installed other units in your building?

The rubber pad (you can find rubber casters made for this purpose that are cheaper than the whole pad) is not going to cure any major vibration. If this is a case of over-sensitive neighbors, it might address the sensitivities. If you have a real vibration problem, either the unit is not perfectly level (achieving this is an art form for installed units because it is difficult or impossible to reach the adjustable feet), the floor is inadequate, you are running imbalanced loads, transport bolt was left in, etc.

If the machine is vibrating significantly, I would start by trying some very minor adjustments to the front feet while the unit is in spin mode. Also, with built-in units, oftentimes the main vibration issue is because the unit is resting against the inside of a cabinet. Try jamming some foam (such as the foam used to seal around air conditioners) between the unit and any adjacent cabinet or appliance.

Thanks NYC sport the floor is not leveled the unit is leveled but once it gets spinning becomes unleveled. Someone suggested cement foundation blocks others the pad, I have pads on each side of the unit now. I went downstairs and it sounds and feels like a train. Thanks

wbat unit do you have? i had Haier and Malber with no issues at all. stopped by my downstairs neighbor once on purpose to see if anything was heard and nada.

No solution here, but I would like to personally thank you for being a considerate upstairs neighbor. NYC needs more like you.

It took us more than a few tries to level the feet to compensate for our uneven floor, but what started as a vibration you could hear two rooms away is now virtually silent from the next room.

I second nyc_sports suggestion to jam foam around the unit. That's what we have did. Still some vibration, but no complaints from neighbors.

I may have a go at adjustig the feet to see if I can get rid of the rest of the vibration

Have washer on rubber casters it's leveled and not up against anything. And when it goes into the spin it sounds and feels as if it's going to take off, don't know what else to do. The rubber casters helped a bit, but at 1300 rpm what else can you do?

Yes it takes awhile but really isn't that bad. I'm still working on the vibration of my unit. I purchased the compact LG and it's a great machine, very different from traditional units but easy to adjust to.
